School Supervisor Training Programmes (2024/25)New

The Education Bureau (EDB) has all along attached great importance to the training of supervisors.  In order to enhance the governance of Incorporate Management Committees (IMCs), the School-based Management Section (SBM Section) will provide supervisors with training programmes on different topics.

According to the training requirements for supervisors laid down by the Bureau, supervisors are required to attend training or activities provided by the EDB, in addition to those provided by School Sponsoring Bodies (SSBs) and IMCs. In this regard, the SBM Section has commissioned the Education Convergence (EC) to provide a series of training programmes for supervisors with more case sharing to enhance their practical experience.  In addition, this year's programme has also introduced a new initiative to include the Preparatory Session and School Supervisor Roundtable within the framework of the Structured Manager Training Programme.  Preparatory Sessions are designed to develop the readiness of new or potential supervisors for taking on leadership roles as the chairperson of IMC.  As for School Supervisor Roundtable, it provides an exchange platform for experience supervisors to extend their learning outcomes.  For details, please refer to https://edconvergence.org.hk/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/SV-Prog_Eng_05092024.p.pdf
